May 22, 2010 – Once again Storm Chaser Chris Collura captures a stunning large tornado. This wedge tornado was near Bowdle, SD. I got a call yesterday evening from Chris as he was chasing this violent tornadic Supercell in South Dakota. He described the tornado as a monster, and when I received the email with the above picture, he wasn’t kidding. A impressive close up picture of this very dangerous tornado as he and several other chasers that made the call to head way north to chase. February 7, 2010 – Baltimore Maryland received record snowfall over the last 24 hours from the latest snow storm to hit the east coast. My sister who lives not too far south of metro Baltimore in Elkridge, sent me some very impressive snow pictures from her house. Deep snow covering her house front to back making everything deep in the white stuff. She told me on the phone they spent the morning digging out as snow continued to fall. The total for her area was 38.3 inches on the ground, with surrounding area’s just as impressive or even a little higher. Truly a winter storm to remember. Enjoy the pictures, and thanks to Courtney for sharing the images.
