May 11, 2010 – Fellow Storm Chaser and good friend Chris Collura captured these images of several tornadoes in extreme north-central Oklahoma during the May 10, 2010 outbreak. The large developing wedge tornado in the first two pictures is the storm that first produced tornadoes southwest of Wakita, OK. Then, Chris captured these wedge images of the tornado as it was just southwest of Rentrow, OK. The smaller “whilte cone” tornado picture was later and further east Ponca City, OK. You can read the rest of his chase reports for 2010 on his website: Sky-Chaser.com | Chase 2010 - Thanks to Chris for sharing these images.
More tornadic Supercells went on further south into central Oklahoma, where significant tornado damage took place in the eastern greater Oklahoma City region.
